Going out with my kids is usually a little challenging, but we are getting better at it.  It's not so long ago that the idea of going out on my own with our three kids meant I'd stay inside instead.  After all the kids are fine in the house and it's only later they struggle after being in all day.

Apart from being my first pair of transitions lenses, my new glasses have an extra added bonus that they help me fall a sleep better.  Confused? Well if I said they had blue light filters in them, some people might get a clue as to why. Understanding how we fall asleep and about our sleep cycles has helped our whole house sleep a bit better.

A birthday party with autistic siblings

It's not unusual for autistic kids to miss out on the whole birthday party scene.  Even the loudest and little five year old can feel overwhelmed with the new chaos and general attack on the senses that is a kids birthday party.   But that doesn't mean they should miss out, especially when it's their siblings birthday.
