WonderfulWednesday: Life is good..we are a happy neurodiverse family

What I want you to know is that life is good. There is no tragedy in this house - thank goodness - we are so lucky. We have our ups and downs like any family, and our particular ups and particular downs might be different from yours, but in the end what I want you to know is that we a happy neurodiverse family

I found my wonderful Wednesday share this week via Autism on our house Facebook page who published this image via Respectfully Connected.    It's a quote from Meg Murray that highlights how, just like our kids are 'different, not less', so is our family.

Our downs may be:
They may be different downs to yours, but downs none the less.

And our ups might be:
They may be the different, but they are still ups.

Some may be similar to your family and some very different.  But so far, just like the little lists I created in a few ticks, I'd say we've had more ups than downs by a long way. And that's pretty good. We are and always have been a wonderfully neurodiverse, happy family.. and long may it continue. I love us, immensely.

  1. What a lovely way of capturing ups and downs. All families are different to each other and incomparable really, but that is a lovely quote :-) Emily #bestandworst
