It's advent - you can tell in our house because there's been excessive excitement about taking a small chocolate out of a calendar! The house will slowly change over the next month as we help our lot cope with the change around their home but still enjoy the festive season.
Whatever you have been up to in the world of SEND and / or autism I'd love to hear about it here on our linky for anything about autism, mental health, education, special educational needs and disabilities and associated topics.
My favourite post from the last linky was from The Autism Page about Hyperlexia. I'd heard about it before but didn't really know much or understand it and thought this was a very interesting post.
My first linked post this month is about the actions of our eldest on Remembrance day when even his phone fell silent. We use technology all the time but I was really interested about what Anthony did with it at 11am. The second is festive with some ideas for stocking fillers for autistic kids. It's also got a giveaway for a card game based on emoji's which I thought was great for helping my kids with the idea of and practicing different facial expressions!
